HEALTH INTELLIGENCE

Our Health Intelligence assessments are aligned with our vision to design interventions and programs according to objective data. We use the objective data as a baseline to design programs as well as to observe the progress within our clientele and to enable precise and personalized interventions till we can conclude another success story. Our R&D team, food lab and practitioners are constantly working on minding the gap between academic research, ways of applying this knowledge and making it accessible for everyone.

Our process:

  1. Online questionnaire
  2. A battery of the relevant assessments
  3. Reports
  4. Relevant programs to be designed and shared with our clients
  5. Initiate the personalized program intervention
  6. Reassess to observe progress

Our Health Intelligence assessments:

Psychophysiological Stress Profile

It is important to remember that what defines optimal performance is different for each individual. Some of us need to be more relaxed while others need to boost their arousal level in order to achieve optimal performance. We have decided to assess it by quantifying objective data using a multi-channel biofeedback system. During the 30 min assessment, 6 different parameters will be recorded- ... Heart Rate, Skin Sweat Level (arousal level), Heart Rate Variability (nervous system activation), peripheral Temperature, Blood Volume Pulse (blood circulation), and Heart Rate Range (cardiovascular range of motion). The recorded objective data will show the expression of the natural physiological reaction to psychological stressors and recovery phases. By the end of the assessment a detailed profile is generated as a baseline to initiate the training program.

Respiratory
Assessment

Your breath is one of the important bridges between mind & body. Breathing training means applying scientifically validated principles of training theory to the muscles of respiration. The assessment will take 40 minutes which will give us objective information about one’s pattern of breathing and breathing muscle strength. During this process, ... the breathing biomechanics ( pattern of muscle activation),quality & quantity of breath (power, consistency, efficiency), resonance frequency breathing (best healthy breathing rhythm) and more are recorded. We adapt the Body Oxygen Level Test as another tool to measure oxygenation in the red blood cells. This objective data will enable us to design a Breathing Program.

Cortisol
Test

Cortisol is one of the steroid hormones and is made in the adrenal glands. Secretion of Cortisol is controlled by the hypothalamus, the pituitary gland, and the adrenal gland often referred to as the HPA axis. Cortisol helps regulate blood sugar levels, regulate metabolism, help reduce inflammation, and assist with memory formulation. It has a controlling effect on salt and water balance and helps regulate blood pressure. Cortisol has a diurnal rhythm ... in our body, meaning that levels of Cortisol are higher at the time of waking and would gradually reduce & reach a minimum level at night. This test measures the salivary adrenal hormone levels, cortisol levels at different time points in a day and salivary testing has been established as the best method for accurate analysis of adrenal hormone levels such as cortisol. Testing provides information to better understand a person's specific imbalances and is addressed through the specific lab recommendations along with diet/ lifestyle interventions.

Metabolite

Organic acids give you an insight into your health status including metabolic blocks and digestive abnormalities that can lead to micro-nutrient deficiencies. Potential contributors include sleep disorders, toxic chemical exposure, poor digestion, food allergies/ sensitivities, nutritional deficiencies, immune reactions, hormone levels, oxidative stress, and inflammation. The results can also be used to ... test detoxification pathways, metabolites of cellular energy function, and metabolites produced by bacteria in the G.I. system which can help show the cause of gastrointestinal symptoms. Abnormally high levels of certain microorganisms can affect digestion, fatigue, and immune function. Mapping your metabolite profile will allow you to rectify these nutritional imbalances through targeted supplementation and nutrition. This is done through a DIY home collection kit with a urinary sample (non-invasive) and the turnaround time is 10 days.

Gut Microbiome

The human gut microbiome plays a crucial role in maintaining health as it has complex effects on human metabolism. Changes in its composition have been linked to inflammatory bowel disease, autoimmune disorders, obesity, and diabetes. Our gut consists of ... different microbial species (bacteria, viruses, fungi etc). Mapping your gut microbiome will provide you with an evidence-based diagnosis that will guide us to a better understanding of your health and allow us to make necessary changes through targeted interventions (recommended based on your gut microbial composition). You are provided with a three-phase nutrition intervention to help bring back balance to your gut. There are also specific supplementation recommendations made based on the populations of probiotics in your gut. The sample required is a stool sample and the turn-around time is 4 weeks.
